  Just had one of the worst customer service experiences ever at the Pembroke Bell store. $100 just to activate an old flip phone that we'll only use in an emergency. I said that's too much and they tried to charge me $15 for a SIM card even though they wouldn't even be able to give it to me. I explained that I would rather pay to cancel my service then be forced to buy a little piece of plastic I don't want.
  
  I didn't feel good about the interaction and I try to be kind to retail sales people so later on when I saw the sales person go out for a smoke I apologized for not being clear enough about how much I was willing to pay and clarified that I know he doesn't set the prices so I wasn't angry at him. He was very rude in his response.
  
  It didn't help that my kids were being difficult throughout this whole process. I wonder how many other people have had similarly negative experiences here.
